Capitol Reef 2016

Just being together as a family makes us happy.  As our family grows its harder to get us all together in one spot and to find a spot big enough for us all to gather.
Capitol Reef is a place where we can enjoy each others company,  and find peace and rest at the same time.  Plus our family had some really good cooks that feed us very well.
Here are just a few of the fun photos we took this year.  Odd activity of the year:  Square dancing.

Josh said the thought of having a family photo made him stressed thinking he's have to have color coordinated, matching outfits.  We assured him that this was a candid family photo.

I love that nothing matches expect for their beautiful smiles.

So glad Ashley and family came all the way from San Fran.

Christian and Kayson are absent but we love them anyway.

Yssels and Steadmans

Aunt Verona and Uncle Bill were super good sports.  We came a few days early hoping to snag some extra campsites.  It caused them to have to put up and take down their tent serveral times.

So glad they came.

So the Eves family is color-coordinated and matching.  They are always prepared.

Thanks for introducing us to Capitol Reef.

Water makes us happy !

It seems like all our activities this weekend included WATER!  We are happy when we are wet !

Family Home Evening Camp Out

You must all be aware that Dad loves this little camper.  We don't use it near enough to please him.
So we decided to go camping in Pine Valley for our Family Home Evening activity.

Dad went off to work Monday morning and I went to run errands and get a few groceries for our campout so I planned  to be ready to  go about 4:00.   My errands didn't take long and as I pulled into the driveway there was Dad and his camper, engine running, ready to go.
"My boss gave me the day off", he said     Who can resist such crazy enthusiasm.  We left at ll:00 am

Even had time for a little fishing.
