An elegant occasion

Alyssa wanted to be sure we included a "tea" party with our activities this weekend when we all gathered to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. Of course, it was ladies only at the tea party. And a tea party isn't complete without Auntie Trisha in attendance. We had a delicious and elegant party. Thanks Alyssa for your fun idea.

Grandpa's fun birthday gift from all the family was an Ipod Touch.
Who's going to teach him how to use it? Why Max(age 4) and Ellie (age 3)!
They are already experts with their fathers' Ipods.

A Big Birthday!

A big group hug for Grandpa on his birthday! Our children and grandchildren gathered for a fun surprise birthday party for Grandpa on his special day.
Grandpa was surrounded by all the grandchildren as he tried to open his gifts.

The baby of the family is always everyone's favorite. She's had all kinds of names.
Pat, Pataruska. Grandpa always called her "Treeeesha". She's called Bubby by lots of cute people nowdays. But most of us know her as our favorite Aunt Trisha.

What do you do when you run out of Grandma Sycamore bread? Well, once I knew how to make bread, maybe I can try again. It turned out yummy and Grandpa found it an acceptable substitute.

Katelyn's Big Day!
